Jane Eyre (Cary Joji Fukunaga, 2011). Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender – good start. Plus, an ear for dialogue that fairly swoons over long sentences and rich words. (full review 3/18)
Bhutto (Duane Baughman, Johnny O’Hara, 2010). The roll-out is conventional but the life is remarkable, and the movie is a good first step in maybe trying to understand more about a nation that, for better or worse, will be one of the key global locations in near-future geopolitics.
