Seven Psychopaths (Martin McDonagh, 2012). A sour Hollywood comedy from the director of the great In Bruges. I’ll try form an opinion of it at some point, but it was hard to concentrate while sitting in front of a family that kept up the chatter and the back-and-forthing throughout the movie. Yeah, family: the folks had brought their two very young daughters and a baby in its car seat, so everybody could enjoy the shocking violence and the profanity and the nudity and the gore. This was a suburban screening, out where the family values are. (full review 10/12)
