(Untitled) (Jonathan Parker, 2009). Not merely a satire of the downtown art scene but a tricky little attempt to understand everybody’s point of view in that world – not an easy thing to do, but worth trying, and watching. (full review 11/13)

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant (Paul Weitz, 2009). John C. Reilly cast as a vampire leader in a traveling freakshow – and there you have the extent of the interesting elements of this movie. (full review 10/23)
