Another one in my series of Film Comment interviews with cinematographers: At the Camerimage Film Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland, I talked to Dan Laustsen, who will probably be Oscar-nominated next week for The Shape of Water. His colorful style enhanced two other Guillermo Del Toro films, Crimson Peak and Mimic, and he also speaks of his polite opting-out of the Dogme 95 craze in his native Denmark. Read it here.
