On Friday, February 17, I’ll be presenting my Humanities Washington talk (in person this time) at Bremerton, WA, for the Enl!ghten Kitsap Community Forum. It’s a free event, with more info here. The talk is “This Is the End: How the Movies Prepared Us for the Pandemic,” in which I use film clips to illustrate the ways disaster pictures predicted our response to Covid-19.
