I Saw the TV Glow. “Sequences are punctuated with pop songs, in a late-90s way that seems legitimate even if clichéd, as though we are actually watching a movie made in the Donnie Darko era.”
Also for Scarecrow, I had an online conversation with Adam Hart, a onetime Seattle cineaste who’s recently had his book Raising the Dead: The Work of George Romero published. Adam had access to Romero’s papers and unfinished projects, and describes a batch of those here.
